Tonight we visited downtown Tarentum at the intersection of the train tracks and the local downtown businesses for the city’s evening night market. The streets were lined with vendors selling homemade and handmade items and products, artists displaying their work proudly, shop owners kept their stores open past normal hours for visitors, and tons of smiles and laughter filled the street.
We decided to meet up with some of Jay’s extended family and walked around downtown Tarentum and then decided to go for dinner and drinks at Ales on 6th. The food was great and the drinks were refreshing – even better it was trivia night – hosted by Picking The Brain Trivia and the quizmaster, BMW!
Our team was the “Parched Italian Stallions.” haha!
Luckily, many of the categories were movie and/or music based and anyone that knows Jay knows that his knowledge in these categories is off the charts!
After roughly an hour or two of great questions, tons of laughter from our group, funny banter from all groups participating and extra points from the quizmaster, BMW, for those that were taking shots – we emerged VICTORIOUS AND IN FIRST PLACE! Woot woot!
The night was super fun and we highly recommend both the restaurant and Picking The Brain Trivia! Good times had by everyone!!
